Our amazing Arts teacher has created these hand-painted plaques to represent Stations of the Cross. These have been installed around the school for our students to visit during reflection times. We have added the images below and the meanings of each.

The artwork below and the version we teach is based on the scriptural form of the Way of the Cross. Due to the original version having only eight clear scriptural foundations, Pope John Paul II introduced a new form of devotion, called the Scriptural Way of the Cross, on Good Friday 1991 which aligns closely with biblical accounts.*

First Station:

Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Second Station:

Jesus is betrayed by Judas and arrested.

Third Station:

Seventh Station:

Ninth Station:

Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem.
