This Friday 18th May will be "Walk Safely to School Day." The aim is to promote healthy, active and family-building ways of travelling to school. We know too, that regular exercise stimulates active brain function which is beneficial to learning. Fruit and water will be provided for all participants when they arrive at school in the undercover area. We will have a vehicle to carry all the children's school bags, as they may get a little heavy and uncomfortable during the 30 minute walk.
Where: We will meet at the small park in Maidenwell Rd at the back of the school - opposite 50 Maidenwell Rd. Please attached map. When: 7:35am for a 7:45am start. (estimating a 30min journey) RSVP: Please respond to the "Parent Slips" email that were sent out last week to show your interest and so that we can cater for enough food.
